Be friendly, not familiar. Be caring, not clingy. Smile warmly, not weirdly.

“Sir” and “Madam” may sound formal, but it’s better than “bro” and “habibi” in the wrong context.

I’ve seen staff who think being nice means being personal, and others who believe being professional means being cold. Both are wrong.
