Staff Training — Believe It Before You Train It
Training fails when the person delivering it does not believe in it.
Many HODs take training as an obligation or a task to tick off the list. But in hospitality, it’s the difference between doing the job and owning the experience.
Training does not fail because of content, time, or workload. Training fails when the person delivering it does not believe in it.
When leaders believe in training, they deliver it with passion instead of obligation.
That belief appears clearly in their body language, their tone of voice, and their energy.
At that point, training stops being instructions and starts becoming encouragement.
It shifts from telling people what to do to motivating them to care.
If leaders do not believe in training, their teams never will.
