Hospitality Stress: The Tax You Pay for Opportunity

Gratitude doesn’t remove the stress—but it gives it meaning.

Hospitality is tough—long hours, pressure, holidays spent at work, and problems that come one after the other.

But here’s the truth we forget: being stressed at work is still a blessing compared to being jobless at home.

Many people would give anything just to feel the stress we complain about.

The stress of responsibility is still better than the silence of unemployment.

And no, we don’t walk around with sacks of money like people sometimes imagine—but we walk with gratitude that our work pays for our home.

Gratitude doesn’t remove the stress, but it gives it meaning.

And I truly believe that serving others is a sacrifice—and a privilege.
