Net What You Can Control. Fix What You Can Solve. Recover What You Can’t Avoid.

Netting protects the guest. Solving protects the operation. Recovery protects the relationship.

Three different skills—don’t confuse them.

One of the most misunderstood parts of hospitality is this: service doesn’t start when a problem happens. Service starts long before it happens.

Most people focus on solving or recovering, but forget the most important stage: “Netting”—creating a safety net to stop the problem before it hits the guest.

Netting protects the guest. Solving protects the operation. Recovery protects the relationship.

And here’s the harsh truth: if you’re solving every day, your net has a hole.

Not all problems should reach the guest.

Net what you can, fix what you must, and recover what you cannot avoid.
